So I received this lovely email yesterday from MTN (extract):
So I think the time has finally come to move on, especially since I've got a months long fault still unresolved.
I've had a look around and came across offerings from Axxess and Vox (both Telkom 120GB capped).
Are there any other LTE offerings I might consider?
Month-to-month or prepaid only please.
So naturally I was quite excited. After all I'll be getting a nice speed bump..... however, this is what I got insteadAs part of MTN’s ongoing efforts to improve the customer experience and ensure optimal network performance, MTN South Africa will be adjusting the bandwidth speeds on the MyMTN Home Internet packages when customers exceed their Fair Usage Policy (FUP) threshold, effective from 1 May 2024.
