South Africa’s most trusted business VoIP providers revealed

Vox, Switch Telecom, BitCo, and Euphoria are the preferred voice-over-IP (VoIP) providers for businesses among South Africa’s IT decision-makers.

This data formed part of MyBroadband’s Corporate IT brand survey, where IT professionals revealed their preferences regarding business IT solutions.

The survey was completed by 1,518 respondents, the majority of whom were executives and managers deciding on which IT products their companies buy.

The results were filtered to include only respondents who make decisions on which ICT products and services their company uses.

As part of the survey, IT professionals and executives were asked which South African VoIP provider they trust the most for their company’s voice needs.

VoIP has become a core component of most businesses’ telecommunications services.

South African businesses used to rely on fixed access lines for communication channels to support their customers and make sales.

However, with VoIP’s superior functionality and improved quality, most businesses have migrated to IP-based voice services.

The widespread availability of fast and affordable fibre access further drove the adoption of VoIP.

Voice call quality on VoIP in South Africa has progressed to the point where digital calling has largely overtaken analogue channels in both the commercial and residential markets.

However, not all VoIP services are equal. Companies must select a trusted VoIP provider to benefit from the advantages of the latest technologies and good infrastructure.

Vox has emerged as the most trusted VoIP provider in the South African business market, followed by Switch Telecom, BitCo, and Euphoria.

The chart below shows South Africa’s most trusted VoIP providers for large business projects.
